Globally Harmonized System (GHS) Training

We offer a comprehensive training program to assist employers needing to comply with the revised Hazard Communication standard. The updated standard now aligns with the United Nation’s Globally Harmonized System (GHS) of classification and labeling of chemicals.

We offer two training options:

• A basic program, that includes educating staff members in the labeling and safety data sheet requirements of the Hazard Communication Standard (HCS)
• A comprehensive program to include “train-the-trainer” classes; onsite surveys, assistance with facility signage and labeling, and specifically designed Hazard Communication Programs based on the chemical hazards identified at the facility. In addition, TEC can review and update current Hazard Communication programs to incorporate the changes brought about by GHS.
